Sunrise Sunday!

I can't believe that April is half way over. Crazy to think that in a few weeks my middle child will be turning 3! Time sure does fly!!!!

Sunday was a busy day for us. During 2nd service and after church I had a Women's Leadership Team meeting to finalize this weekends Women's Retreat. Right after the meeting my family drove down to Eugene to meet up with Dennis' side of the family for some swim time at Splash!  Unfortunately, I have no pictures at the meantime since I did not take any. My hands were tied up with the littles and making sure my fearless water children were staying safe. I plan on posting some that my mother-in-law took once she has uploaded them.

I have yet to discover a fear that Mr. Beckham has. On occasion I guess he fears my departure and will cry, but this boy is just so full of life and energy and loves to balance on the fearless side. When at the pool last Sunday he played the whole time in the kiddy pool. He would walk which the water was about up to his stomach and then just dive face first into the water. He then would lift himself up by his arms bringing his face just enough out of the water to be able to breath while floating on his tummy. Big smiles and excited to try again. This little guy might give me a few grey hairs before my time that's for sure.

Brooklyn was a little hesitant of the big slide this time. She was telling Bailey who was excited to go down the slide that it was harder for her since she was taller. Cute listening to them chat about the pool but Brooklyn eventually gave it a try like she has so many times when she was younger and well...loved it!

Bailey makes me laugh so much by just the silly things she does and doesn't even know she does them. While in the kiddy pool with Beckham and Brooklyn, suddenly the life guard was evacuating everyone out of this small amount of water. To our grossness a small turd was floating in the water. At this point we had been in the water for quiet sometime so seeing Dennis and Bailey walking over who had just finished in the wave pool we thought good opportunity to go take showers and clean up. Bailey obviously didn't get the memo and jumped into the kiddy pool stretched out her arms and began floating and enjoying that no one else was around her. She had this expression that made me think she was thinking, "Sweet a whole pool to myself" probably not but I'd like to think she was. We quickly began to call her name and motion for her to get out of the pool. She looked at us like, "huh?" and, "why?" then finally stood up and made her way out so that we could explain that a floating turd was on the other side of the pool and they had to clean it out. Later she was telling us about a turd in the pool and some kid went potty. Pretty fun!

Monday was  a start of a new school week for Brooklyn. We have been going over the Netherlands with her a little and thought it would be fun for her to get to skype with her Uncle, Aunt and cousin who do missionary work there. It had been a little while since we had skyped last. It was so fun to be able to see them and almost feel like they were just sitting at the kitchen table with us. The week before Brooklyn had come up with some questions to ask them, she suddenly became shy regarding the questions, but this will be fun to keep doing and what a fun way to learn. On a side note Brooklyn is doing so well in her reading! Not her favorite but she gets so excited when she accomplishes what looks to be impossible.

Rest of our week was not to busy. Friday- Sunday I'm off at Women't retreat! Very excited about this but will miss my family. It's will be good to get away and just soak in God's message!

Happy Sunrise Sunday!!!
